Installation

Single Beam Kit Diagram

The following HID installation guides and videos are for HIDEXTREME customers to become familiar with our products. Although many customers do install there own HID headlight kits, professional installation is always recommended. The following is only a guide and should be preformed by a qualified installer. HIDEXTREME is not responsible for vehicle damage by advice within these tutorials.

Only high/low kit contains relay.

Pictured is one side of a single beam HID headlight kit.

1. Remove factory headlight bulb

2. Install new HID bulb in headlight housing.
 (Do not touch the bulb) If the bulb is touched with your hands clean bulb with alcohol before proceeding.

3. Connect the two plugs from the bulb to the igniter.

4. Connect the headlight harness to the ballast.

5. Connect the + red wire to the + on the OEM headlight plug wire.

6. Connect the - black wire to the - on the OEM headlight plug wire.

7. Repeat on other side of vehicle.

8 Turn headlights on to test and do a 10 minute burn in.

High/Low Kit Diagram

Pictured is one side of a High/Low HID Headlight Kit.

1. Disconnect vehicles [-] terminal on the battery.

2. Remove the factory headlight bulb.

3. Install the HID Headlight bulb (do not touch).

4. Connect the high/low control plug from the bulb to the relay.

5. Connect the headlight plug to the ballast.

6. Connect the ballast plug to the control relay.

7. Connect black wire to vehicle ground.

8. Connect OEM headlight plug to control relay plug.

9. Connect red fused wire to 12V + of vehicle battery.

10. Repeat bulb install on other side of vehicle.

11. Reconnect [-] terminal on the battery.

12. Test and do 10 minute burn in.
